Foxfire Dobermans

Michelle and her mother, Clarice , purchased their foundation bitch, Pele (Am/Can Ch JanRic's Zerline v Davanti WAC) in 1979.
This was the first Doberman Michelle owner/handled to points from the 9-12 puppy class.
Their first litter was born in 1982 after she completed her Championship under the banner of Foxfire.
Today, every Foxfire Doberman traces back to Pele.

Michelle (& her mother before her passing) has bred 337 AKC Champions and 154 Obedience titled Dobermans and 48 DPCA ROMS (Register of Merit~ which requires a AKC championship, advanced obedience degree and passing the DPCA Working Aptitude Evaluation). Plus to numerous to track WAC certified (working aptitude evaluation.

In 2008 and 2009 Ch Foxfire's All That Jazz and in 2009 and 2012 Ch Foxfire All Star were AKC Top Producing Working Group recipients.

Michelle has served the DPCA in many capacities, including as DPCA President from 2014-2015, DPCA First Vice President (1/4 year) 2013-2014, DPCA Board member 2017-2021 and Exhibiter Education Chair from 2001-2006.

The American Kennel Club awarded Michelle their Working Group Breeder of the Year in 2010.
Dogs In Review magazine recognized Michelle with their
'Winkie Award' Outstanding Breeder in 2012.
In 2015 Foxfire received the DPCA Breeders' APEX Award
GOLD Level.

Foxfire Dobermans' have qualified for all venues of the
DPCA Top Twenty events for numerous years.
With three winning the Conformation event.

Ch Foxfire's Alltimate Wanna Be.
In fact many of the Dobermans competing in the TT each year have lineage tracing back to Foxfire.

Michelle has mentored and provided foundation stock for many of the current active and successful Doberman Breeders.
She has always been dedicated to purposefully breeding all around Dobermans who have succeeded in both conformation and performance. However, she feels her greatest accomplishment is placing well bred 'Beauty and Brains' as just everyday ordinary 'companions' to Doberman enthusiasts.
